Our digital banking app may request access or permission to certain features from your mobile device. This access can include records such as your phone number, home address, or email address. We will use this contact information to alert you about events or actions that require your attention. If you grant permission to use your contact information, we may use that information to pre-populate certain forms for contacting you. If you grant permission to use your device’s location, we will use that data when checking for nearby branch and ATM locations. If you grant permission to access photos, media or other files stored on your device, we may use that information to add an image to a transaction, to attach a document to a chat, or to add a photo to your profile. If you grant permission to use your device’s camera, we will use it when taking a picture to add an image to a transaction, or to capture images of a check that is being deposited, or to add a photo to your profile. If you wish to change access or permissions, you may do so in your device's settings. Requests to delete collected information must be sent to us in one of the following ways:
Please note that we will not be able to immediately delete information that we are required by regulation to keep for certain timeframes, and requests to delete or no longer collect information might result in losing certain functionality in our digital banking app. For example, we are required by the Check 21 Act to retain check images you provide to us for a period of 7 years, and if you do not grant permission to use your device’s camera you will not be able to use the mobile deposit function. |
